We came to New Zealand from the UK in the mid 1970s. Forty years later we are still here in Aotearoa - the land of the long white cloud. Our children Zoe and Jake, both fully fledged kiwis, have grown and flown. Jake lives in Melbourne and Zoe in Los Angeles.

Tish and Andrew escaped relatively unscathed, in the 70s, from the human potential movement. We have both worked in and moved on from the medical world. We are walkers, casual cyclists, amateur bird watchers and occasional hikers. We have travelled much of New Zealand in our fifth-wheel (motorhome). We enjoy a decent glass of wine and a good yarn.  For the last few years we have been travelling to the Orkneys and the south of England to visit family and friends.

We were married on Tryphena Beach on Great Barrier Island. We lived on Waiheke Island in the Hauraki Gulf for ten years. We sailed, drove to and stayed in Coromandel many years ago. We have been casually looking for a place to settle for a long time. We arrived in Coromandel Town towards the end of 2015 and to our surprise three days later we were buying the Green House. We are not sure how this happened and we are glad it did.

Tish and I took over this award winning bed and breakfast in 2016. We pretty much know you will enjoy your stay and that you will leave with some wonderful Coromandel memories.

We will gladly share our growing local knowledge on where to go, what to do, as well as places to explore, eat,  have a pint or a glass of wine.

The two guest bedrooms and the sitting room are upstairs on the first floor with views of the sunset and sunrise.

Both bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The Seascape's view is to the west over the harbour and islands. The Ranges room looks east over our garden to the hills or ranges beyond.  The sitting room faces both east and west. Each bedroom has its own ensuite.

Our sumptuous continental breakfast is served downstairs in the dining room between 8am to 10am. The garden is available for you to wander and or sit in.

Free WiFi is provided. It's fast and unlimited. A windows-based computer is available.  A couple of town and country bikes, a petanque and croquet set are also free for you to use. For a quiet evening in we have playing cards, various board games, DVDs and books. There is a TV in each room.
