The Coromandel Coastal Walkway is a stunning 3 hr hike from Fletcher's Bay to Stony bay at the top of the peninsula. Many people book a trip with one of our local tour operators, Coromandel Adventures or Coromandel Discovery. They have mini buses and will take you to the start of the walkway. After a great walk with stunning scenery, views of Great Barrier and Little Barrier islands and maybe some sightings of whales, orca and or dolphins they will pick you up and bring you back to the Greenhouse bed and breakfast.

The walk is not too hard. There is one short steep section but the rest is rather gentle taking in coast and native bush. A swim is also a possiblity.

The drivers are knowledgeable and entertaining. Pick-up from The Green House B&B is normally about 8.30 a.m and you can expect to be back with us round 5.30 p.m.

You could drive yourself to either end of the walk and go as far as you like and then return to your car and there are other shorter walks en-route.

Be aware that the road north of Colville is unsealed and although okay for two wheel drive cars, it deserves considerable caution. There are big drop off and it's narrow.
